Sea Painting - G. Bell

Hey everyone, we just added this beautiful old sea painting to the shop and I’m honestly a bit obsessed with the character it has. It’s an original oil piece signed by an artist named G. Bell, featuring a sturdy little trawler out on the water with seagulls trailing behind.

The brushwork is really thick and textured, which gives it so much life when the light hits it. It’s still in its original ornate gold frame, and while the frame has some chips and wear at the corners, I think it just makes the whole thing feel more authentic and storied. It would look incredible on a gallery wall or tucked into a bookshelf.
